Start Location: Mission Valley Resort, 875 Hotel Circle South, San Diego

Description: This 1000km brevet consists of three loops. Loop 1 goes to Chula Vista and then along Hwy 94 to the first control, just past Jacumba. The return leg follows Old Hwy 80 to the Sunrise Highway, over Mount Laguna to Julian, then down to Santa Ysabel before heading back to Mission Valley. Loop 2 is an extended figure 8, a long connection on the Old 395 joins the southern section, which visits Rancho Santa Fe and Del Dios, with the northern section, which goes through Rainbow, Temecula, Hemet, and Murrieta. Loop 3 is a relatively flat out-and-back to Bellflower on PCH.
