Start Location:  Holiday Inn Express, 621 S Hwy 101, Solana Beach, CA

Description:   This loop starts in Solana Beach and goes down the coast towards Friars Road. From there it heads inland to Alpine and on up to Julian. Descending from Julian the route goes to Hemet, via Warner Springs and Sage Road. With an early start, most riders should get to Hemet in daylight. After Hemet, riders continue west to Lake Elsinore, then turn south through Temecula. The route heads west towards Carlsbad, then south on the coast to the finish.
