Start Location: Doyle Community Park, La Jolla

Description: This ride is the traditional season opener. Start in La Jolla, up through Rancho Santa Fe to San Elijo Hills and North Escondido; then the backcountry of Couser Canyon and Rice Canyon to Rainbow, return through Fallbrook to the coast, and down PCH to the finish.
