Start Location: Major's Coffee Shop, 28870 Old Hwy 80, Pine Valley, CA
Description: A little on the climby side, but definitely low-traffic roads. Leave Pine Valley on Old Hwy 80, and head to Cameron Corners, then on to Jacumba. Turn around, and stay on Old Hwy 80 to climb Kitchen Creek Road to Mt Laguna Lodge and then down through Julian to Wynola. Back up through Julian, and then down 79, past Lake Cuyamaca to Guatay and then to the finish. Last year's edition was very hot. You'll need to fully hydrate before climbing up Kitchen Creek.
