Start Location: Holiday Inn Express, 621 S Hwy 101, Solana Beach, CA
Description: This loop is a modified version of the one run in 2007. It starts in Solana Beach and goes down the coast towards Friars Road. From there it heads inland toward Alpine and then up to Julian. From there it goes to Hemet, via Warner Springs and Sage Road. With an early start and by not riding up Sunrise Hwy to Mt Laguna, most riders should get to Hemet in daylight. After Hemet, riders continue west to Lake Elsinore, then head south through Temecula. The route turns west towards Carlsbad, then south on the coast to the finish.
